Lyngdorf Audio extends its loudspeaker range with the LCR-2 on-wall speaker

Lyngdorf Audio launches a new addition to the company’s loudspeaker range, the Lyngdorf LCR-2. This model was developed as a stylish and perfectly matching centre speaker addition to the recently introduced FR-2 floor standing speaker and can also be used for left, right and surround channels in a multichannel system.

Seamless multichannel performance

The LCR-2 completes the recently introduced FR-2 floor standing speakers for a seamless multichannel performance. LCR stands for Left, Center, Right – a speaker that was designed and tuned to bring music and movie soundtracks to life in modern home cinemas and media room. Perfect below a TV as a stylish centre channel speaker, it can also be used for all front channels or as a surround speaker and blends effortlessly into a living space while delivering powerful and clear sound.

Space-saving yet with outstanding sound quality

With its space-saving, exceptionally shallow cabinet specifically tuned for wall placement, the LCR-2 extends the outstanding sound quality of the floor standing FR-2 for multimedia rooms. It has the same midrange woofers and tweeter as the FR-2 and therefore allows a seamless integration. The two high-performance midrange-woofers are equipped with extra-strong magnets and very light aluminium cones, while all drive units are placed as close as possible to each other to achieve an ideal sound beam into the room. It can be used as a centre channel or on its own, for example combined with Lyngdorf BW woofers for the bass and LFE.

Satin matt color combinations and exchangeable fabric covers

The LCR-2 has a distinct front baffle merging into the top and is available in different matching or contrasting colors. The fabric covers from Danish specialist Gabriel are exchangeable and let the LCR-2 blend into every room. The LCR-2 is made to the highest quality standards at Lyngdorf Audio in Denmark, where the company recently added its own cabinet manufacturing and lacquering facility close to the headquarter in Skive.
