Impressive bass from a shallow design
The DW-10 is a high-performance in-wall woofer with two drive-units, specifically made for custom installations that require the highest level of bass performance from the most shallow woofer solution. The rigid and sealed enclosure is very easy to integrate and fits 6 inch/15 cm cavity walls, while the extended height provides the large inner cabinet volume required for remarkable bass extension and high SPL. This design in combination with two very powerful 10 inch woofers running in parallel delivers an impressive bass performance. The DW-10 is designed for in-wall installations and floor standing, and comes with a paintable, magnetically held grill to cover the woofer front.
Two powerful high-excursion 10-inch woofers
The very limited depth inside an in-wall woofer requires a special high-performance driver. The DW-10 utilizes two patented high-excursion shallow woofers, customized for Lyngdorf Audio and based on an innovative voice-coil / cone geometry and suspension which allows the highest excursion from the most space-saving construction. A four-layer voice coil, an ultra-rigid dual aluminium cone, a very powerful neodymium magnet, and an extremely rigid cast basket provide impressive bass performance, achieving a high output level and low reach. The high-bandwidth design ensures an accurate, fast response and allows the most seamless sound integration with the main speakers.
